Babbling Baby in a Bathtub

Just a quick post to capture all the words that Tripp has in his ever-expanding vocab... another one of those boring posts that will be more interesting to me in 5 years than to any of you now (or ever), but thought I would capture while I had the chance.

Words --  Tripp can say (and we think he sort of understands the meaning of) the following words:
  • Car
  • Nana (banana)
  • Walk
  • Truck (which sounds dangerously close to a less desirable word...)
  • Cheese
  • School
  • Peaches
  • TaTa (Thank You)
  • Please
  • Dot Dog (Hotdog)
  • Shoe(s)
  • Bee Bee (belly button)
  • Baby
  • Toes
  • Ni-Night
  • Uh Oh
  • Friday
  • Morning
  • Ball
  • Book
  • Dog
  • Cat
  • Bird
  • Bath
  • Eat
  • Boo Boo (this one is new, not sure where he picked it up)
  • WaWa (water, milk, or any liquid in a cup)
  • MaMa
  • DaDa
  • PaPa
  • MiMi (his little girlfriend in his class is Mila, he calls her MiMi)
  • Several Letters --- A, B, C, and D... and the aforementioned enthusiastic 'Y'
  • Outside (in all fairness --- he butchers this word, but we know what he's saying through hand gestures)
  • one and two
  • Bless You (after you sneeze.. or after he sneezes)
  • BooYa (complete with hand motions, thanks to his father)
  • Touchdown (with the referee hand motions)
  • ... and unfortunately, he has learned "No"  and "Mine" much to our dismay.
Animal Sounds --- Tripp knows and can somewhat articulate what the following animals say:
  • Cat
  • Cow
  • Dog
  • Bird
  • Horse
  • Sheep
  • Duck
  • Frog (sort of)
Body Parts --- he can point out where the following body parts if asked:
  • Eyes (sounds like "ice" when he says it, while poking himself in the eye)
  • Ears
  • Nose (and he sticks his finger about knuckle deep in his nostril)
  • Mouth
  • Teeth
  • Brain
  • Belly Button (bee bee)
  • Feet
  • Toes
And... here's a photo of Tripp in his new, ginormous bathtub in our new house!... can you tell he loves it!?!

Happy hump day!
Meg
